Located
near the Little Miami river on 505 acres of land Camp
Whip-Poor-Will has a wide variety of living areas from
platform tents to Conestoga wagons. Ravines give way to
small creeks which make excellent spots for creek hikes and
fossil hunting. A small pond, high ropes, and low ropes as
well as an archery range, swimming pool and craft area are
other features at Camp Whip-Poor-Will.
Note: Day Camp opportunities for Buckeye Trails Region will
be held at Camp
Butterworth.
RESIDENT CAMP
HIGH ADVENTURE
High Adventure sessions are
geared for girls who are ready for action and adventure.
Each High Adventure session will begin with a short stay at
Camp Whip-Poor-Will and then on to their adventure on
Monday. Trips last from 3-4 nights and involve travel time
out of camp.

Enjoy an intense week
of horseback riding at Canyon Rim Ranch. You will
get to work one on one with instructors and ranch
hands learning the ins and outs of owning a horse.
Learn the basics of riding and by the end of the
week you’ll take a day long trail ride overlooking
at the beautiful sites of West Virginia. |

being a river guide? Spend three days on the New
River in West Virginia. The first day you’ll go down
the river in duckies and then spend the next two
days learning what it takes to guide a group down
the river and the basic rescues. |

Travel to Rockford
Illinois and get certified in open water scuba
diving. That’s right, in just one week you’ll be
able to amaze your friends with the skills you
learned this summer. You will have to do some course
work that will be mailed out to you ahead of time.

of the world, the world’s largest Amish Buggy, the
world’s largest rubber stamp, a basket shaped
building and so much more. Grab your camera and come
to camp ready to choose the strange things you’ll
see. |

to Mammoth Cave and taking on exciting adventures.
You’ll try caving, horseback riding, canoeing and
